Not all calm is soft. Some calm is steady. 'Wonderful' is a mixed media collage portrait created from hand-painted papers, built slowly by hand in my studio. The figure's closed eyes and layered, patterned hair create beautiful tension against a quiet background — designed for spaces that want visual interest without visual noise. The pebble grey background was chosen intentionally. Cool neutral tones ground a composition without flattening it, making this colorway especially suited for modern homes, professional offices, therapy spaces, and interiors that want the art to be the quiet, confident focal point in the room.
