Some spaces need to exhale. This piece helps them do that. 'Loved' is a mixed media collage portrait created from hand-painted papers, built slowly by hand in my studio. The figure's closed eyes and richly textured hair offer presence without performance — designed for spaces where softness and grounding matter equally. The sage green background was chosen intentionally. Muted green tones are among the fastest colors to lower cortisol, connecting the nervous system to the calming signal of nature. This colorway is especially suited for bedrooms, yoga studios, therapy offices, and any space designed around restoration.
